Fancourt, one of South Africa’s premier golfing and leisure resorts is situated in the heart of the Garden Route. Set in 545 hectares of lush countryside, superbly landscaped with the majestic Outeniqua Mountains as its backdrop. Fancourt is only 7 kilometers from both the George Airport and the historic town of George.  It is also within easy reach of the many attractive tourist destinations in the area.

Old world charm and contemporary luxury link the graciousness of the past with the convenience of the present to create a haven of tranquility and style. All services are of the highest international standards, including a VIP lounge at the closest connecting airport, corporate conference facilities, a mini-cinema, billiard room and a luxury spa including a gym, indoor Roman bath and jacuzzi as well as a hair salon.

Three of the four 18-hole Gary Player designed golf courses, in and around Fancourt, are rated in the Top 10 in South Africa.  For the non-golfer, outdoor pursuits include tennis courts, lawn bowls, croquet, outdoor and indoor swimming pools and running/walking trails.  Mountain biking, picnics, horse riding and walks can be arranged on request.  Open sea bathing and glorious beaches are within easy distance.

ROOMS

Guests can choose between accommodation in a room in the beautifully restored Manor House or in one of the stately Garden Suites or Studios.

At the Manor House standard rooms, executive rooms and deluxe suites, you will find a restful haven in a building with a history dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. Now a National Monument, the Manor House dates back to 1847 and is situated in a wooded parkland - the perfect base for your leisure.

In the Garden suites and studios, guests are invited to rest in the most peaceful setting of all - the magnificent gardens.

DINING

Indulge in La Cantina's authentic Italian fare and the freshly caught seafood dishes of Le Pêcheur, to The Morning Glory's health meals, the modern African cuisine of Sansibar and Bramble Lodge's selected dinner menu of locally-sourced produce.

The Members Bar and The Sandwedge (Montagu Halfway House) offer lighter meals for guests on the move.

The Deli sells a range of Fancourt Original and Executive Chef's Range products including jams, pasta and sauces.
